For some awesome cocktails in Gozo, the View Zebbug is definitely worth a try! We take beverages and our whole bar menu very seriously. Whether you pair a cocktail with the sumptuous food you order, have an appéritif prior to commencing the degustation, or just to simply enjoy your favourite mix of fine spirits, we certainly can serve some feisty cocktails!
Mojito Cocktails in Gozo
First off, the Mojito! For a little history, it is widely accepted that the Mojito’s history originated in Cuba and was likely created by African slaves working in the sugar cane fields. The drink’s name has several possible origins, including the Cuban seasoning ‘mojo’ and the Spanish word ‘mojadito’. The creation of the Bacardi company and Ernest Hemingway’s discovery of the drink helped to popularise it, and it has since become one of the most popular modern cocktails. The original cuban punch has made it to Gozo, and we definitely kept the traditional ingredients of white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint. But we’ve also added in the enticing option to mix it with dark rum – for all you rum enthusiasts out there.

Next, our signature Amaretto Sour. Do you like a sweet cocktail that can still pack a punch? We’ve got it, and it’s amazing! Amaretto Sour is a cocktail made with amaretto liqueur, citrus juice, and a sweetener. However, ours adds a different twist to your regular sour; we achieve a sublime balance in taste by using the finest Italian Amaretto, some bourbon whiskey, fresh lime, angostura bitters, and egg white foam.
Overall, our Amaretto Sour is a sweet and sour beverage that is refreshing, proving itself as a top contender for appéritiffs and friend or family gatherings here at The View Zebbug.
